According to Mythology Stories, Lord Parashuram is considered the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Parashuram was born to Kshatriya woman Renuka and great sage brahmin Jamadagni. It is said that he was the great devotee of Lord Shiva and he had got so many divine weapons from Lord Shiva. Lord Parashuram is the Lord of Justice, who has killed all Kshatriya's on earth 21 times.

But Do you know why Lord Parashuram killed all Kshatriya's? 

Kshatriya's were in second place in the Social hierarchy in ancient days of Mahabharata, who were the rulers and warriors of society. Their job is to protect, manage and promote, material wellbeing in society. The Brahmin's were the first of the four classes. It was their job to pray, study, read sacred texts and perform rituals. But the Kshatriya became very adharmic and began to oppress the world. Lord Vishnu then took birth as the son of the sage Jamadagni and his wife Renuka. Since this was the linkage of sage Bhrigu. Parashuram was also called as Bhargava. Parashuram's mission was to protect Brahmin's and punish Kshatriya's for their adharmic deeds.

There was a king named Kartivirya Arjuna who had received all kind of blessings from sage Dattatreya, because of these boons Kartiviya Arjuna had a thousand arms, he conquered and ruled the entire world. One day Kartivirya Arjuna went for hunting. He was very tired after the hunt and was invited by sage Jamdagni, who had Kamadhenu cow. This meant that the cow produced whatever the owner wanted. Maharishi arranged food for the whole army with the help of the Kamadhenu cow. King Kartivirya was so impressed with Kamdhenu that he asked the sage to give it to him. But Rishi Jamadagni refused, as it was the only way to maintain ashram and manage life. At this time Kartivirya was angry and destroyed the ashram of sage Jamdagni and started taking Kamadhenu. At that time Kamadhenu departed from his hands and went towards heaven. When Lord Parashuram arrived at the ashram, his mother Renuka explained all the details to him. Lord Parashuram was so angry, after seeing the disrespect of his parents and the ashram. Lord Parashuram decided to destroy the evil crusader and his army at the same time. Lord Parashuram cut a thousand arms and killed Kartivirya. After killing Kartivirya, on the orders of his father Lord Parashuram made Pilgrimages to a turn for this slotter.

After a while Parashuram was absent, Kartivirya's son arrived at the ashram and killed Maharshi Jamadagni. After his father's death, Parashuram's anger was vacant, he killed all the Kshatriya in the world 21 times. On the planes of Kurukshetra, Lord Parashuram built 5 wells filled with Kshatriya's blood and then he handed the world over to Kashyap and mode to Mount Mahendra.
